Who we are

Khulisa Group (Pty) Ltd (“Khulisa Group”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in South Africa, is a project, systems and change consultancy based in the Western Cape, working with organisations in the UK and South Africa. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website.

What we collect

When you use our enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, your organisation or business name (if you give it), the type of organisation and where you’re based, the type of help you need, and anything you write in your message.

Please don’t include sensitive information, such as details about health or the people you support, in the enquiry form.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you choose to work with us, to discuss and arrange that work.

Under UK GDPR, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and taking steps you have asked for before entering into a contract. Under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), we process your information to respond to your request.

We will not use your details for marketing, and we will never sell or rent them.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and receive enquiries:

• Cloudflare, which hosts the website and processes the form.
• Telegram, which delivers new enquiry notifications to us.
• Resend, if used, which delivers enquiry emails to us.

These providers handle your details only to provide their service to us. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Where your information goes

We are based in South Africa, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Where your information leaves the UK or South Africa, we rely on our providers’ own safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn’t lead to work, we delete it within 12 months. If we work together, we keep what we need for that work and for our legal and accounting records.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your information
• stop or limit how we use it
• object to us using it

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to:

• In the UK: the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk)
• In South Africa: the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za)

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
